"In November of 2005 I was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that was found in several areas in my body. It seemed a death sentence. My doctors at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York recommended a pernicious chemotherapy regime (accelerated R-CHOP) with lumbar punctures. The doctors told me that my heart, liver and kidneys would take a big hit with the radiation and chemo.
Through a friend, I was introduced to Dr. Bonnie Mackey.
